The climate is changeable, very hot in summer (+35 - 40) and cold in winter (-25 -30). Relative humidity in summer not more than 37% and in winter 80-84%. Aktau is known for its strong winds and dust storms.

Aktau is a young developing city in the west end of Kazkhstan. It is rich in oil and gas. Aktau is situated near the Caspian Sea. There are many places of interest which attract thousands of foreigners every year. There are many park, aqua parks, various trading centers. There is also the centre for youths which applies young people with work. The Caspian Sea - the most visited site in Aktau both in summer and in winter.
